Information Lovii processes

Lovii processes account and profile information such as your email address, nickname, username, optional public bio and location, birthday day and month (never the year), character choice, authentication records, session information, and push-notification token. It also processes story membership and invitations, story settings, daily-card titles, text, moods and generated illustrations, likes, safety reports, blocks, hidden-story choices, and support communications.

If you use the private partner thread, Lovii processes the messages you send, delivery and read state, and any photo or voice note you choose to attach. View-once and disappearing settings affect how that content is displayed and retained in the service.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate you, operate shared stories, generate and preserve cards, provide public discovery when a story is deliberately public, rank public stories, deliver invitations and security messages, protect the service, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. Lovii does not sell personal information and does not use private story content for advertising.

Storage and service providers

Lovii uses Supabase for authentication, database, realtime updates, Edge Functions, file storage, and related infrastructure. Apple and Google process information when you choose their sign-in service. Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging route device notifications. An AI-image provider processes the minimum card prompt and character-reference context needed to generate an illustration. Website hosting, email, security, and support providers process the limited technical or communication data needed to provide those services.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their contractual and legal safeguards. Lovii does not sell personal information, use private story content for advertising, or intentionally collect an advertising identifier.

Device permissions

Notifications are optional and are used for daily reminders and partner messages. Camera and photo-library access are requested only when you choose to attach a photo in the private partner thread. Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record a voice note. Add-only photo-library access is used when you save a card to your device. Denying one of these permissions disables that optional action, not your account. Lovii does not request contacts or precise device location.

Who can see story content

Active stories are private to their members by default. An eligible story may be made public only through an explicit visibility choice. Public story titles, taglines, creator display identities, cards, rankings, likes, and profile details intended for discovery can then be seen by other users and may appear on lovii.app. Safety reviewers may access reported content when necessary to investigate abuse or comply with law.

Retention and deletion

Story content remains until an account or story action deletes it, a disappearing or view-once rule removes it, or removal is required for safety or law. Safety reports and limited security records may be retained as reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

You can permanently delete your account from Account Settings → Profile details → Delete my account. The in-app action starts deletion immediately and removes the authentication account, profile, memberships, likes, owned stories, authored cards, private-chat data covered by the account deletion flow, and associated stored media. Deletion cannot be reversed. Short-lived disaster-recovery backups are isolated from the live service and expire on their normal rotation; they are not used to restore an individual deleted account.

Your choices

You may access and export your story, correct profile information, change an eligible story's visibility, download cards, control notifications, hide or report content, block accounts, sign out, request support, and delete your account. Security and age

Lovii uses encrypted network connections, access controls, row-level database policies, private storage, expiring signed media access, and single-use authentication codes. No system can guarantee absolute security. Lovii is for people aged 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires parental or guardian permission for a teenager to use an online service, that permission is required.
