Lovii is private by default. This policy explains what the app collects, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

Information Lovii processes
Lovii processes your email address, display name, authentication records, story membership, invitation activity, story settings, daily-card text and moods, generated illustrations, likes, safety reports, blocks and hidden-story choices, device and session information, and support communications. The current release does not request your contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone. Device media access may be requested only when you choose to save or share a card.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate you, operate shared stories, generate and preserve cards, provide public discovery when a story is deliberately public, rank public stories, deliver invitations and security messages, protect the service, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. Lovii does not sell personal information and does not use private story content for advertising.
Storage and service providers
Lovii uses Supabase for authentication, database, realtime updates, file storage, and related infrastructure. Authentication providers may process the account details needed for email or native sign-in. AI-image providers process the card prompt needed to generate an illustration. Providers may process data in countries other than your own under their contractual and legal safeguards.
Who can see story content
Active stories are private to their members by default. An eligible story may be made public only through an explicit visibility choice. Public story titles, taglines, creator display identities, cards, rankings, likes, and profile details intended for discovery can then be seen by other users and may appear on lovii.app. Safety reviewers may access reported content when necessary to investigate abuse or comply with law.
Retention and deletion
Story content remains until a story owner or account holder deletes it, or until removal is required for safety or law. You can delete your account from Story Settings. Deletion removes the authentication account, memberships, likes, owned stories, authored cards, and associated generated media, subject to short-lived backups and legally required records.
Your choices
You may access your story in the app, correct your display information, change an eligible story's visibility, download cards, hide or report public content, block accounts, sign out, request support, and delete your account. See the account-deletion page for instructions.
Security and age
Lovii uses encrypted network connections, access controls, row-level database policies, private storage, expiring signed media access, and single-use authentication codes. No system can guarantee absolute security. Lovii is for people aged 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires parental or guardian permission for a teenager to use an online service, that permission is required.
